CARING FOR YOUR CHEER BOW:

How to wear-

Put hair up in the designated style that your coach has specified. Do not use the cheer bow's elastic to put hair up, always use a separate elastic for the initial ponytail, bun or braids. Apply all hair products before inserting your cheer bow. Position the bow where you want it and then use the attached elastic to secure it. Use an additional elastic on top to lock the bow in place. Use bobby pins to secure tails. Never spray hairspray or other products on your hair while the bow is in place as it will dull the rhinestones and glitter on your bow.

How to store-

We strongly suggest a bow box or hard plastic storage container that is slightly larger than your bow. This will help the bow hold its shape and stay free of stains. We never suggest storing your bow inside your bag or hanging your bow on your backpack and it can easily become crushed, misshapen or dirty.

What to do in the case of a broken elastic-

Our bows use very high quality, seamless, elastics so broken elastics are extremely rare. We understand emergency situations arise, if you do have to cut your bow out of your hair or your elastic becomes damaged, we suggest that you use a length of stretchy elastic to tie your bow into your hair. We do offer elastic repairs for Rock the Bow items- Send us an email and we will instruct you how to ship the bow back to us. You pay a $5 repair fee as well as shipping both ways. We will take the bow apart and replace the elastic before reassembling it and shipping it back to you.

How to clean-

If your cheer bow becomes stained, we suggest gently wiping the affected area with a shout wipe or a soft damp cloth. Do not put your cheer bow in the washing machine, fully submerge it in water or use bleach, soap, etc.

Lost cheer bows-

If you happen to lose your Rock the Bow item midway through the season, we will do our best to replace it for you at the original price per item. Turnaround times will vary and rush fees may apply if you need your bow in a short amount of time.
